I am a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, Australia. I earned my PhD in Structural Biology in 2005 from Université Joseph Fourier, Grenoble (France) on the study of the “structure, molecular dynamics and selectivity of copper(I) and mercury(II) metallochaperones”. My research interest lies in the structural and dynamical properties of biomolecular self-assemblies: biological membranes, interaction of membrane-active compounds with membranes (such as antimicrobial peptides, toxins and small organic molecules) and the molecular basis for the mechanism of signal transduction across the plasma membrane by cytokine receptors. I use computational techniques, in particular molecular modelling to study these systems.
